Clarins: a product review

So I recently started using Clarins moisturiser after seeing rave reviews about it online and was given some free samples for a cleansing face wash and toner and instantly fell in love.

My skin is very dry and I struggle to keep it feeling soft. After a couple of months use of my Clarins products I thought I would do a quick review.

Clarins gentle foaming cleanser.
I use this every evening to wipe away my make up and any dirt traces. Since using this I have noticed such a difference in how my skins feels. It's so much softer and not so irratated. This is must have for me and I will be purchasing it again once I run out.

HydraQuench day cream.
This also comes in a night cream and with SPF. After some advice from the helpful staff at the Clarins counter I opted for the day cream without SPF as it would be lighter on my skin and not clog my pores. I have to say it does not feel heavy or at all greasy on my skin and makes a great base for foundation. After using this I have noticed how much easier foundation glides on my face and it has even improved my overall skin tone.

Extra calming toning lotion.
This claims to reduce redness and irration caused by sensitive skin. The camomile in this toner really has helped with my iterated skin. I often get red patches (looks like sun burn) when I get out of the shower, however with this toner that is a problem of the past. Out of all the beauty products I have ever tried and believe me it's a lot this is my absolute must have.

A quick catch up

So I've been away from blogging for longer than I expected. Just wanted to catch you all up on what I've been doing whilst I've been away.

So I spent a weekend in Norwich catching up with some university friends. Norwich really is a lovely city and the nightlife is pretty good too. I visited the cutest cafe and had some amazing home made cake.

I've even making the most of the sunny weather and had a picnic with all the girls and being the big kids we are we decided to drink our pimms out of Disney princess plastic cups.

I recently started a new job and whilst I'm very happy in my new job it was sad to leave everyone at Debenhams behind. As a leaving present some of my colleagues got me this cute sign. I love kitsch signs like this for the home and guarantee when I get my own house it will be covered in these.

My week in photos

So it's been a while since I lasted blogged as I've been busy searching for a new job and I have worked a lot over the past month. So I thought I would share with you what I have been up to during my abesence.

So I took a trip to lakeside to go shopping and stopped off in Brentwood on the way to take a look at the places towie made famous. Amongs
