A day in Granchester

So today I am blogging from the comfort of my bed after just having a wisdom tooth removed 😞. If any of you have had one removed you will know it painful and you spend most of the day with a swollen face...always a good look.

This weekend I had some uni friends come visit so I thought as it was a very sunny day I would take them to the orchard tea rooms in grandchester and then onto a pub lunch. 

We all decided to have a cream tea. 

I have never been to the orchard tea rooms and I'm now wondering why not. With plenty of comfy deck chairs it's the perfect place to relax in the sun. 

We then went on to the red lion pub. I have been here a few times and it is one of the nicest pubs I've been too. Inside it has a very cosy countryside feel and there is a large beer garden too! (Always a must in the summer)
